She would twist to get back to the same side again too. I had the Plunket nurse check and she didn't have a torticullos (sp) and when on her tummy she could lift her head straight up so they weren't too worried about it. She eventually grew out of it, and the flat spot on her head has self corrected as she's grown.
You can tell which one she is in all these photos coz her head is always facing the same side...

We did exercises every day with him and now he lies both ways. We turned him around in his cot as it encouraged him to turn to see us when we walked in the room, and all toys were also placed on the other side of him. He still has a slight flat spot but is barely noticable now, and should even out when he starts crawling.

At the end of the day, unless it is really, really bad they usually right themselves when bubs is crawling or sitting as they are spending less time on their backs. If she is really reluctant to turn the other way though it may pay to see someone about it

Also try wedges or a safety sleep and also a mirror on the side you would like them her to face. He was stubborn to and would really fight to have his head to the right.
You can also see cranial oesteopaths, my friend took her newborn to one as he had a ridge from where he had been stuck (was to big to get out and had been wedged against her pelvis) after a few appointments the ridge was gone.
