Mine has said those comments to.. like 'well what do you do all day' comments, i really wanted to smack him!

Grr, I have a man who just doesn't get it either...

I sometimes (not often) ask him to look after Anton while I get some paperwork done, and as soon as he gets a little tiny grizzle, he gets dumped back on me saying "nothing works, he must be hungry". And DH cannot seem to remember that nappies need to be changed several times a day, not just once (and then only when I remind him).

He also does no housework or cooking at the moment.

They don't understand mastitis either, do they? Last time I started to get really sore boobs I went straight to lie down and rest, and he kept coming in and asking "aren't you going to finish the gardening?". Argh, don't know how I put up with him really! What gets me is that I worked the same job as DH, and while we were in the UK I worked shifts as well. But still when I tell him that this is more tiring he doesn't seem to get it and thinks his job is harder than mine.
I got quite ill the last time I got mastitis and DH had Spencer for a whole morning and said to me afterwards OMG how do you ever get anything done. Its weird, my Dh used to say those comments to me quite often (after a major hissy on my part he got the hint and hasn't said any in a while) but I do still think he thinks that I have it easy at home. BUT when he looks after even one of the girls for an hour or two he can barely even cope. He moans about how tough it is etc.

So apparently I have it easy- but if he looks after one of them for a tiny bit he has it tough?? MEN!!!
I knew what was coming from the title   My DH has tried to make a few comments along those lines, but for someone that has spent maximum of an hour alone with his daughter before giving her back and needing a break???.   Lets just say he got shot down pretty quick
I am not complaining though, he helps clean the house and cooks the meals on weekends so that I get a bit of a break too
