Sam was posterior for most of the pregnancy and still that way when labour started. The good wee girl turned anterior during her exit though which apparently is quite common
BTW, I tried absolutley everything to turn her, from scrubbing the shower floor, leaning forward on chairs, down on all fours, swimming - you name it I did it and she never turned

yeah I am sitting on a swiss ball right now, to try and move baby from posterior position. Yep they definitely turn, in fact if baby is engaged and posterior, they are about 98% sure to turn to anterior before or during labour. Well our bubs still managed to turn from posterior to anterior (luckily for me) while at D2 but now its too squashed to move much at all, so only moves from side to side slightly!
