I didn't believe the afterhours doctor here. I believed my GP. So if you don't feel that she's right take her to your GP tomorrow morning and make sure they give you an early appt. Take her to your gp tomorrow, you will probably get a better response than from the 24 hour clinic.
I'm not sure how it works in town but normally a doctor from my surgery is on call over the weekend, I took Spencer a few weeks ago cos he had a rash that I was freaking out about, it cost $10 but we got to see our own gp and it put my mind at ease, so that could be an option if you wanted to get her seen today. Were not covered by at 24 hour clinic though so that might be why they are on call.
You could probably always take her back to the 24 hour clinic as you would probably see a different doctor.

I have a feeling there is still something wrong.. but the doctor thinks there isnt. Shes so hot, and grizzly and has been like this since the not drinking episode. All she does is cries. I gave her some pamol last night because her cry was like a pain cry and she was screaming. Glad to hear Kylahs feeding again. It's very worrying isn't it.

Rico did the same thing when he was very young, except I was b/feeding so my boobs were getting sooo full with him not feeding off them. He last fed about 7am then wouldn't take anything all day. By 5pm I was beside myself with worry & ended up having to express off as boobs were in a lot of pain! Took Rico to the Dr who checked him over & he was fine. He finally fed not long after we got home from the Dr's. Wasn't a good day that's for sure. She is on formula now. She dran 100mls at 6.30am.
She slept from 11pm till 6.30am.. i guess thats no different from her sleeping 8pm till 3.30am. Except that her tummy woul have been empty.. i swear i heard it growling while i was feeding her.
It was really scary becuse i rang the healhline and they said to take her to 24hr or hospital and that freaked me out. They said she could be dehydrated.

How is kylah this morning? Are you still breastfeeding? because it could be that AF is coming back and your milk tastes funny but I think you said you were switching to formula.

Maybe she just had an off day! Keep a watch on her and trust your instincts. Hey all..

Thanks for all your replies.. i was really worried so i took her to the 24hr medical centre.. we had to wait over an hour before we were seen.. dont babies under certain age get seen quicker??

is her fontanelle sunken?? Ellas sunk on weekend when she kept vomitting...we also did electrolytes (pedialyte) to get it right again all round....

Has she had her jabs recently? Gina reacted quite badly after her first lot and it lasted for about 5 days after the actual jabs. She refused to eat, sleep and was terribly out of sorts and crying

Awwww, that sounds worrying for you.  I hope she feeds soon and feeds well!  Keeping baby's fluids up is important, so can you syringe any water into her (if she won't take it from a bottle, that is)?  Sounds worth seeing the GP about, even if the visit turns out to be just for peace of mind.  I hope she gets better over the weekend.

Hi, it's not too unusual for a baby that age to suddenly go off feed, especially after a growth spurt. Are you giving her any breastmilk at all? If you are, then that has probably settled a bit too. But.... I'm concerned when you say she's unsettled etc as well. Check her temp and if it's under 38.5 then take her to the docs in the morning. If it's high, go now. Ohhh, and that is how much Daniel had in 12 hrs, its extremely worrying. I was going quite nuts with worry over the amount he was drinking. If you want to get more fluid into her "dream feed" her during the day and evening. Once shes been asleep for a lil while. Go in pick her up (in the dark) and don't say a thing and quickly give her a quick feed - I had to do this for about a week. It was the only way I could get fluids into Daniel. Daniel went through a feeding strike.. he finished it just last week.

I'd advise to take Kylah to the docs, its quite possible she might have an ear infection which is bugging her.
