Yeap, has been walking for about 4 weeks. Let me know how you get on with that... is Elle walking?

Cam will push the car around but he has no confidence to walk on his own... he just doesnt seem like he can - or doesnt seem like he wants to!
It is strange for me as he crawled and cruised the furniture earlier than the other 2 but the other 2 were walking by 12 months...

My son still rolls to his tummy to sit up.. and he is getting better at learning depth perception... but he also isnt walking yet - which was surprising to me this time around!
He is staying my "baby" for a while longer!

Jack still trips over big toys and stuff when hes running lol.

The gremlins definitely do NOT have depth perception yet, Mercedes has learnt to crawl UP stairs, but when it comes to crawling down... smack! Ouchy nose! I watched her do this about 1/2 dozen times on the 3 steps at my bosses place today.

They both sit up from lying down tho, they started that well before they crawled, probably about 8 months. They pull to stand but can't stand without something to pull up on.

Maya never learnt to roll over at all till after she crawled, she hated being on her tummy so there was no incentive to roll. Caitlin has been walking since 10mths and only in the last month or so has she started to do that bump up first, then stand thing

I don't think she has depth perception because she is so fearless and hasn't fallen off/over anything yet due to her parents baracading her in LOL
She charges forward without taking time to look what is in her way, so lots of falls over stuff like toys

i agree with glow but I know that whenn your child seems not to be doing what all the other kids seem to be doing it can be a little worrying. All of your options apply to Erin, technically, although she still chooses not to walk independently - and I am not too worried just yet. I know it is hard though! James also learned to sit from lying down before he walked think he did by accident when he was trying to crawl.

Jack learned to sit up from lying down before he learnt to crawl but thats not usually the way they learn.

With the depth perception I once watched a doco on babies and it said that when they learn to crawl they learn not to crawl off the side of things but then when they start to walk to have to learn that all over again.
