i used a dummy, and had no problems getting rid of it either, they are a wonderful invention ,thankyou whoever thought the dummy up

I was against having one as well, but found it a god send in the end & would'nt be without it, we started using one when Piper started teething as she likes to chew on it and would never take a teething ring. i hated dummies too and swore i would never use one..........but charli had to have one!!!

Tom can actually take it out of his mouth!! DH and I watched in amazement as he grabbed it and pulled it out! He is only 4 weeks old WTF!!!

I think we are going to be in trouble with this one. Don't worry I was the same when I had Andrew. They are great and they also help with reflux.

I swore I would never use one. I never had one and I must admit I tended to look down on people who did use them.

Well I am now converted!!!! What a fantastic invention and it really settles Tom down. I am now learning that sometimes he wants to suck and not feed but if he is on my boob he will feed automatically and then get over full and uncomfy.

So apologies to all those in the past that I looked down on.
