I also put them straight in the machine on a cold rinse (runny poo and all) then a warm wash with Ecostore powder and a little Dettol hygenic rinse. I put it straight into the machine and do a rince and spin then dry pail it until they all get washed. When I wash them its ion cold water with a double rince and I use eco store powder.

this is a good excuse to buy more nappies! lol because iv had to move Astin into mediums! already! and so far i only have 7 of them so im having to throw them straight into the drier so i can reuse the same day! I rinse pooey naps in cold water, then dry pail everything until I wash (1-2 days). Pre-rinse, cold or warm wash with ecostore and dettol fresh in the rinse cycle. If I cant dry them on the line, they go inside on the clothes rack, if there are any stains I put those ones under the window and the stains come out still - it doesn't need to be sun, just light.

I am throwing them all into a bucket and then when I go to do a wash I rinse the runny poos (still yellowy stuff) and then doa hot wash. I have stopped using ecostore as everything was getting a swampy smell. I then hang out in the sun to get the stains out. Mostly I just throw it in the nappy bucket and do a rinse cycle with just the nappies (cold water) and then throw in all the other clothes and wash as normal with ecostore. Never have any stains now and I never do a warm or hot wash because our tap is busted but it doesn't seem to matter a bit. After she has gone to bed at night I run a rinse cycle (cold) for the dirty nappys and inserts, then chuck the rest in for a warm wash + extra rinse, using ecostore. I didn't bother rinsing runny ones, mostly cause I wash every day. Pretty much the same here, although I only warm wash about once a week. If it's a sunny day and the nappies are going to be out on the line all day I reckon the sunlight does the same thing. And we use Next Generation or Ecostore.

i havnt really been using my nappy bucket as i tend to wash the nappies as soon as they are used!

Im wondering if i clean my nappies the long way around!

When Astin does a poo (still in the runny stage) i rinse it under the hot water in the laundry sink then throw it in the machine with eco powder on a hot wash then when its finished i scrub it with sunlight soap (as there is usually a stain) then i throw it back through the machine.
