I used to do one big bottle wash and sterilise at night, but now I just throw them in the dishwasher.

If you are intending to express a lot of feeds then it might be worth investing in a double electric pump, I bought a medela one from breastmates.co.nz and this definately helped me give breastmilk to bub for longer.

Edited by cuppatea

You'll need to use a bottle sterliser (sp?) for at least the first 3 months or so (we still do) so it's just as easy to wash the bottles by hand - all you need is a bowl to fill with soapy water and a bottle brush! Kellz is also right - bub may not like the bottles you choose - it may take a few tries to find the right one so it pays not to over-stock on them.
