Telecom Charity Vote is due to go live on 3rd September (Monday) - this is where you are able to vote for your preferred charity... the four charities with the most votes received over September will get a donation from Telecom of $250,000 each.

I work for Arthritis New Zealand and know just how much the $250,000 could help the 1 in 6 New Zealanders over the age of 15 who have this often unpredictable and limiting disease.

Its not just the problem of the elderly either - there are at least 1000 babies and young people in this country at any one time who are also affected by arthritis.

Arthritis New Zealand provides valuable services such as free clinics and informative seminars to the community as well as promoting research into the causes and treatment of arthritis.

With only 7% of the annual operating budget supplied by the Government is leaves a considerable shortfall to make up through fundraising - that is why this chance to get $250,000 from Telecom would be a godsend to all those who use our services.
