I have been letting her suckle whenever she wants for however long to try and increase my milk, and giving her my left breast more often to increase it. So, hopefully I can now keep going with the breastfeeding! <img border="0" src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley17.gif" border="0"> ]]>

She also said its completely normal for one boob to yield more milk than the other and some babies just favour one side...So hopefully, slowly but surely, things might come right. A baby is way better at getting milk out than a breast pump. Like others have said you giving her formula is actually making your boobs produce less milk. <br /><br />Its quite common for one boob not to make as much and its usually because they prefer the opposite one. I have it with mine too and it shouldn't cause a problem. You could keep her on the one that makes less for longer to try and get it to make more.]]>

I haven't tried it so don't know whether it works or not, but I think it's called breastfeeding tea & is made by Weleda so maybe ask at a health shop. Also make sure you're drinking plenty of water & maybe try feeding her a bit more frequently for a bit just to help boost your supply.<br />]]>

I found - other than the normal back rubbing - that sometimes changing their position helps, ie from lying to sitting or a gentle little squeeze in their mid section.]]>

Could well be wind, Daniel presents me with hunger signs when it's actually wind and sometimes his growth spurts last a week - 10 days when he becomes an absolute guts. <br /><br />If you are worried about one breast not having much milk there are things you can do to increase your supply.]]>

Now, I'm pretty sure its hunger, because I have her in a fairly predictable feed, play, sleep routine, but could it be anything else?<br /><br />The other thing I have noticed is that my left breast doesn't seem to yield as much milk as my right. If I pump both of them for 10 mins, I will get about 75mls off the right breast, but only about 25mls off the left...and my let down is WAY slower on the left than the right? Are there any solutions to this?<br /><br />I'm also sure its NOT a growth spurt, because this has been going on for about a week now <img border="0" src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley5.gif" border="0"> <br /><br />Any help/info would be MUCH appreciated, because at this stage, I am really considering just putting her on formula alone...]]>
