Topic: 3 year old birthday present Posted: 16 January 2012 at 3:24pm |
I have 2 3yr old birthday parties and have no idea what to get them. I'm only just getting to know the girls so don't really know what they are into. What are 3 year old girls generally in to? What are good gifts for them?
TIA.

Books are my 'go to' kids present and you can generally get some good ones fairly cheap so it doesn't end up being a huge cost.

Can't go wrong with some colouring pencils, paper and stickers. You can put a pack together yourself for under $10 or there are some neat kits around.

It is hard if you don't really know them - Those paint with water books are good and books or a dress-up costume (from K-mart or the Warehouse).

We have had several 3rd birthdays in the last few weeks. Most little girls like handbags, hairclips and junk jewllery, also I have got one little girl colouring book and felt pens plus a pencil case (all tinkerbell as she loves the movie). One of G's other friends got a zuzu pet puppy, and for another one of them I brought her a pretty skirt and top. My daughter loves anything Dora and also My little pony is very popular.

Ditto all the above. Fairies etc seem to be popular and dress ups, pretend play; tea parties, cooking, cleaning, role play etc. It does depend on the girl, i know a few tomboys who would despise that kind of thing.
Or something neutral like cooking things or drawing, stamping, crafts stuff.

My present idea is always playdough :)
